The Explorers are on the move! They are busy exploring, progressing, and learning. At the Gathering Place for Kids, we provide the space and opportunity for children to explore possibilities, make connections and absorb language. The Explorers will not only develop social skills, but our theme lessons and instructional activities will provide readiness for the preschool experience.

Our high-quality kindergarten prep program provides a strong foundation for school readiness and success in kindergarten. Our KG Preppers will learn skills that will become building blocks to helping them read, write, and problem solve. 

They will actively engage in daily literacy skills in order to master concepts such as writing their name, letters, and recognizing a variety of sight words.  Our small group math activities will provide the skills needed for counting, addition and subtraction, and shape recognition. The KG Preppers will quickly learn that math is everywhere! 

Our educators are committed to ensuring that our KG Preppers make a seamless transition to kindergarten with confidence and a love for learning.

Our enrichment program is just that – enrichment! It is designed to expose children to new passions, interests, and activities.  Children will delight in engaging in different experiences that allow them to express themselves and improve their unique talents.

Our enrichment sessions will include but will not be limited to, culinary art classes, sports clinic, community outreach, theatre and dance, technology, music, art lessons, and Spanish and English language enrichment classes

The Gathering Place for Kids offers an exceptional before and after school academic and enrichment program for children ages 5-12.

Our educators provide academic support to students as they complete homework assignments and projects. 

However, our Trailblazer program extends beyond tutorials.  We are committed to creating an atmosphere where creativity, enrichment, inspiration, and social engagement thrive.  We connect with each student in order to bridge the gap and instill positive moral and social values.  In turn, students experience an increase in self- confidence, academic performance, and the realization that they have the ability to achieve.

Our summer themes, hands-on activities, and special guests are all selected so that children ages 2 ½ -12 will have a summer filled with opportunities to create, explore, imagine and have loads of fun!
